One for all, all for one

Structure

The broad mix of backgrounds of the young people requires a rigorous enforcement of privacy within the community; upheld at all times without exception.

There are no extraneous adults within the community and their roles, whilst being identifiable, are rightly multi-faceted. Local team members share the responsibilities of monitoring and intervention, crucial to successful nurturing of their cohort. The overall balance of adult to researcher across the community is maintained at 1:4 allowing a high level of continuous monitoring whilst maintaining the feeling of ownership by the young.
The community structure can best be described as broadly egalitarian; learners and adults having an equal opportunity to contribute towards helping others.
